"The New Generation"

Adults have been telling us that we are "the Generation of Change". If you have Mr. Miclette's class then you know that he talked about all of the hard things being out of the way, and us finishing the job, and opening minds. I'm wondering why is it that the younger kids who haven't experienced, or seen the same things to the extension older people have are supposed to get rid of it? Wouldn't you think that the people who saw it all would want it all over with. I mean after seeing all of the discrimination and anger and death, i would be more open minded and ready for change. I think it shouldn't be up to mainly our generation, just because were not going to die as soon as the people who have experienced all of the society changing events, doesn't mean that they should give up and leave it to us.
